Appearance:
Juan has short black hair. He has a small frame and has a tanned skin. When he was a child he was simply wearing loin cloth (bahag) with simple adornments and a spear for hunting. But as soon as Spain discovered him hunting in the woods (thinking he must be cold and needed food) Spain took him in and eventually was told to change into more Spanish-relate clothing.

Personality and Interests

Juan is an outspoken person, especially when it comes to his opinions. He can be stubborn but has great hospitality. He will gladly offer you his bed at home even if he sleeps on the floor. He is a happy person wand would not mind jokes, but if you cross the line he can be very angry. Though a simple sorry can melt his angry heart. He is very nationalistic and would come at anyone who dares go against his people (anyone and I mean ANYONE). Juan loves to eat, he loves to cook food and enjoys taking siestas in the afternoon. It can be added that he also enjoys boxing shows and karaoke.

Relationships
China (Wang Yao)

They used to trade back in the days. Juan learned a lot from Yao and they would often visit each others homes to trade items or knowledge. As of today they are still good friends and still trade, Yao's teachings are also still practiced by Juan even though he had been taught new learnings by Spain, America and japan.

Spain (Antonio Fernandez Carriedo)

When Spain took Juan to his home, he never did get away for a long time. he inherited a lot of traits from Spain because of that. Antonio sent Juan to school , he had him educated and develop manners; of course Juan was not happy being forced to do all of this at first. But he also realized that Anotnio was overbearingly protective of him and Juan later on treats Antonio as a fatherly figure. Even though Juan is out of his home, Anotnio still has attachments to him and even once suggested that Juan change his official language to Spanish.

Mexico (Alejandro Maybel Fernandez Vallado)

Alejandro and Juan were both under Spain's home. They were like brothers. There came a time when both Juan and Alejandro sneaked out of Spain's home to become independent, Juan got caught. Alenjandro wanted to help but he was too weak to fight off Spain at that time. And so Juan remained at Spain's house alone. At present Juan and Alejandro still treat each other like siblings. They would often act the same and at the same time have petty fights especially when it came to pageants and boxing matches.

United States of America (Alfred F. Jones)

Juan was able to get out of Spain's home eventually with the help of America. Alfred then brought him to his house and treating him as his own child. At this point Juan grew sudden admiration for Alfred. He secretly wished to be like him and relies on Alfred on a lot of things.Juan was also able to gain qualities from Alfred's home; even though Alfred might be a bit exploiting Juan does not bother, thinking that this is the country that freed me from 300 years of imprisonment. Being weak from his stay at Spain's house Alfred did promise to let go of Juan when he was ready to stand on his own. When Juan could not wait any longer (and felt that Alfred tricked him) both of them had a fight injuring each other through headbutt. As of today the ties between the two of them are still fairly strong.

Malaysia (Sarah Sun Qiao Chan)

Juan and Sarah are neighbors. They usually maintained a friendly demeanor towards each other but it all changed when they both found two orphan boys outside their backyard; they were called Sabah and Spratly. And thus the never ending dispute of the two on who the boys should stay with began. Malaysia won over Sabah but at present both are still fighting over the other boy, Spratly.

Japan (Honda Kiku)

At the time Kiku and Alfred had a dispute Kiku decided to take Juan by surprise. Because of the confusing situation (and the nearing independence that Alfred promised) Juan became very hostile towards Kiku. He had wanted his independence for a long time and he was not willing to stay in another house any longer. Juan's stay at Kiku's house was rough, they could never get along. Juan even once accused Kiku of being a "shut-in" which broke the nerve of the other; this was followed by several spanking incidents. In modern society, both countries have a platonic relationship and Kiku would come over to Juan's house to learn English while Juan would copy anime episode's from Kiku's laptop.

United Kingdom (Arthur Kirkland)

Arthur once abducted a sleeping Juan and brought him to his home, but this only lasted for a day. An enraged Spain came along and almost destroyed Arthur's home (knocking off mermaid figurines and puppets off the cupboard); because of the damages, Arthur was forced to return Juan. Back at Spain's home, Juan woke up wondering what happened. Apparently he was unaware of the abduction.
